Many moons ago Loken did terrible damage to my confidence as a healer. He trashed us, repeatedly. On NORMAL.
He shattered my faith in my abilities, he took the smile from my naive face, and he laughed at us when we failed.
My people on Velen changed all that.
We conquered the beast. He died badly, but we persevered. It was a day of rejoicing, a moment of euphoria, and a time of closure.
Best of all… it was on HEROIC!

Loken is just a babbling old geezer whom, if this game was more accurate shouldn’t be able to talk (for the ammount of times I’ve taken his blasted tounge for that quest) .
But alas, he can truely suck the life out of your group, this whole dungeon can. I’ve found randoms where the groups fall apart before they even attempt the first boss.
My current nemesis, is the waves of trash after the first boss in Heroic Halls of Reflection. I just can’t seem to keep the group up on my shaman. I’ll heal, say the dps who’s about to die while the tank was at full health, I go back to the tank and find that they died, then I die and well the whole group is then running back to the dungeon door. It definately shakes my confidance as a healer and I don’t know when I’ll successfully complete it a 2nd time.
Halls of Reflection is just a lot of ugliness. Not my favorite place and gives me tons of stress. The music in there doesn’t help and the psycho bosses to fight
I turn off the sound.
There are always some fights that are worse than others. I think before Loken I had some serious hate toward Murmur in Shadow Labs.
As far as bosses go, Ick is certainly on the shortlist of ones that might take Loken’s spot!
Your a good healer Eve one of the best by far i know..
