I was afraid of this. We’ve been talking about finishing out some rep grinding and mount farming in Zul’Gurub out of concern that they would do this. It’s a shame, really. It’s a fun raid, but apparently… it’s also gone as a raid in Cataclysm. Word is that it’s going to be part of a questing zone in upper Stranglethorn.
I love the Egyptian thing going on in Silithus with this kind of character. In fact, Loremaster taught me that Silithus is actually a pretty cool place.
It’s slow going. Very slow going. Despite the walking-through-mud pace, I did manage to take another step forward.
All done.
Now I just need to do the Outland part of Loremaster and I’ll be done. However, when I got Kalimdor complete yesterday I realized I was only 10 quests away from getting my 3000 achievement. I decided to take off to Outland and do a few quests so I could finish that one too.

Now the need to hurry is gone. I’m not going to stress out about Outland since it’s not even on the same realm of existence as the Cataclysm changes.
My daughter has been playing the Hot & Cold song on constant loop lately. It’s a good song but this is an amusing WoW version. A lot of people at this point right now pre-expansion. Happens every time like clockwork.
My old friend Jeff recently came back to the game and this video sort of reminds me of our play ages ago when I was a total noob and he showed me how everything worked. Nice storyline for the video.
